Encarni Pindado is a Spanish-born photojournalist with interests in gender, immigration, human rights, and social issues. She is currently working on a long-term project about gender and migration. Her work has been published across major media outlets in the industry in Europe, the United States, and Latin America. Her image for Eyes on Main Street is part of the series The Other Side of Migration: Central American Women that was a finalist for the W. Eugene Smith Grant in Humanistic Photography in 2014.
