Eyes on Main Street Inc

Agnes Montanari Taking pictures means meeting people, understanding and sharing a moment of their life. The camera is the trigger that initiates the relationship. It is a privilege when they “let you in.” This is what I have been trying to achieve for the last fifteen years by documenting these encounters photographically. This has led me to develop personal projects such as A Quiet Revolution: Women of Yemen, published by Le Monde (2011) and the book Georgian Minorities (2011). I have worked for various organizations exhibiting and publishing work for ICRC, UNHCR, Doctors Without Borders, UNESCO, among others. (Photo shot around Lhasa, China 2010.
